Variable Data Printing, also known as One-to-One Marketing or Personalization, is a type of printing in which documents are created from a combination of variable text and images that are taken from records in a database.   This can be as simple as addressing mailers or as complex as using images and text customized for each record or set of records to generate the desired output.
